I’m telling you, friends and family. That is where it is at in this life. This sweet angel is one of my best friends daughters. I was lucky enough to take her mothers maternity photos and now to capture the sweet girl as a newborn baby. She really is an angel!
I will be completely honest with you though, I was nervous for this photo shoot. I am not super experienced in newborn photography and felt a little out of my element. However, Madelyn’s sweet Kate (big sister) and Lacey (newborn) were so incredibly easy to capture because the love, life and brightness in their home was beaming through the both of them!
Some people ask me why I started photography, well like most things in my life, I have 1000 reasons. BUT one of the big reasons is I love watching and being reminded of miracles. When two people get married, it is the beginning of a lifelong miracle to me. Two families join together and become one. Then those two individuals add and create their own little family, with children who will one day go through the same steps of falling in love and joining again another two families together as one. What can I say? I am one of those “can’t we all just get along, have fun and show some love” type of people. Watching my dearest friends Jake and Madelyn meet, court, fall in love, get married, have their sweet Kate and now Lacey… it seriously brings me so much joy. I love you Rigbys!!!
